The Tecumseh boys cross country team became 2020 County Champions at the Lenawee County meet on Saturday. Taking the top spot with a time of 16:58 was county champion Ethan Leitner from Tecumseh leading the Indians to a county championship title. Tyler Nowak finished 4th with a time of 17:22 and Cameron Kemppainen finished 9th with a season best time of 17:55. Kyle Mackey finished with a season best of 18:14 and Ben Lammers finished with a seasons best time of 18:45. Chris Warren finished with a time of 19:57. Next meet wll be at Pre Regionals in Adrian on 10/24. "The team need to step up and compete today, as seeded third, they came to race, and were ready to rise up for the challenge." The Tecumseh boys cross country team competed against Jackson and Jackson Lumen Christi Saturday morning.at Jackson. Ethan Leitner lead the team with a 2nd place finish with a time of 17:02. Placing 3rd was Tyler Nowak with a time of 17:28. Kyle Mackey had a time of 18:26.0. Cameron Kemppainen 18:26.1, Ben Lammers 19:04 and Joshua Schreck with Personal Record 19:38 Next race will be SEC on 10/17 and County meet on 10/17. Other notable Personal Records Tory Clark with a 19:51, Andrew Selenko with a time of 19:41 and Tyler Hilton with a time of 19.51.

The Tecumseh boys cross country team competed against Adrian and Pinckney Saturday morning.at Heritage Park. Ethan Leitner lead the team with a 4 place finish with a time of 16:59. Placing 9th was Tyler Nowak with a time of 17:39. Kyle Mackey had a time of 18:39. Cameron Kemppainen 18:44, Ben Lammers 19:36 and Chris Warren 19:49. Next race will be @Jackson.

The Tecumseh boys cross country team competed against Monroe Saturday morning.at Munson Park in Monroe. Ethan Leitner lead the team with a 2nd place finish with a PR of 16:41. Placing 3rd with a season record was Tyler Nowak with a time of 17:20. Kyle Mackey place 9th with a season record of 18:34. Cameron Kemppainen placed 10th with a season record of 18:53. Personal records were achieved by Joshua Schrek, Adam Norden, Tyler Hilton, Andrew Selenko, Chris Warren, and Gavin Williams. The Tecumseh boys cross country team competed against Hudson, Adrian, AA Skyline Saturday morning.at Heritage park in Adrian. Ethan Leitner placed 3rd with a PR of 17:33.8 and Tyler Nowak placed 9th with a time of 18:05.0. Other runners that had a PR was Chris Warren with a 20:26.1 and Joshua Schreck with a 20:37.4. Overall the team placed 3rd. Next Saturday the Indians will be competing in Monroe.
